Feel the Heat

I love Florida and it's bright, hot light. Everything seems to pop...the white buildings, palms and beaches. It easily helps me to be inspired and create.

I took this picture with my iPhone camera and imported it into Photoshop where I used "cutouts" to create graphic shapes. I then added the type (including Ft. Lauderdale zip of 33316) to create the final layout.

A New Partnership

I have worked for many years with Oren Sherman, an incredibly talented illustrator. We have recently joined together in a new venture to offer "graphic renovations" of existing hotels. Using Oren's work, intertwined with my graphic design, we are able to offer potential clients a new look for an updated brand without busting the bank. If you are interested in seeing more examples of what we can do for your business, please contact myself or Oren:

The Beginning

For this first entry, I wanted to highlight New York City and it's relationship to my work. The city is such an amazing place full of energy that easily translates to design. Attached here is an image of rubber ducks that I took while attending FIT in NYC. The class involved walking around the city and shooting what inspired us and then creating an alternate business for ourselves with the image. The shot was taken through a greeting card store window in Chelsea. Loved the colors...and of course, who doesn't like a rubber ducky.
