Island of Manhattan

I met Tom Rogers, owner of WA and his partner Paul this morning in NYC. While walking around before the meeting, I was looking at how the city has changed over the years. The skyline it seems is forever changing: with Freedom Tower rising spectacularly from the ashes to an Apple store on the upper balcony of Grand Central terminal.

Another client recently directed me to a site of historical photos. I came across this pic of the Flat Iron building from 1909. It's beauty endures to be part of the ever shifting landscape and one of my all time favorite buildings on the Island of Manhattan.

Going Tribal

We recently completed a series of relaxation CDs for Rick Miller, a highly regarded therapist based in Boston and Cape Cod. Rick requested a tribal feeling to the designs which helped the CDs stand out from the crowd of typical images...sunsets, oceans, etc.

Dress Up

We recently worked on a Flash animation for Gretchen Scott Designs. She designs and produces fabulous tunics, outerwear and accessories. Gretchen asked me to draw ladies doing crazy things like drinking two martinis at the same time and walking a baby elephant. She wanted the addictive fun of her line to be mirrored in the animation.

Classic Beauty

While walking to the gym one day under a garage, I came across this incredible Bentley. These images barely capture the amazing beauty of this classic car. I love it's curves and masculine design which perfectly highlight the design of an era.

Riding the Wave

I have the current privilege of working on the new brand (logo/website) for a guest house in Fort Lauderdale. The name is 15 FTL and the logo invokes its environment with the tropical colors and waves.

The newly designed website is now live at 15FTL.com and we are continuing their brand development in email blasts and print ads. Ride the wave!
